Top 10 of 2011 – Getting Together to Look Back

Posted December 7, 2011 in Meme / 1 Comment

Top 10 of 2011 is going to be a week long event of momentous magnitude from December 26th – 30th.  I slightly exaggerate but several hosts, including Jessica from Confessions of a Bookaholic, Lisa from A Life Bound by BooksJaime & Patricia from Two Chicks on Books and Rachel from Fiktshun, have organized a week of looking back….  oh and looking forward (as it says above).  They’ve graciously invited everyone to hook up, hang out and share their top 10s for the week!
So, what’s the schedule of posts, you say?  They are (straight from Fiktshun’s post):
Monday 12/26 – Top 10 Books I’ve read in 2011
Tuesday 12/27 – Top 10 Book Covers of 2011
Wednesday 12/28 – Top 10 Book Boyfriends in 2011
Thursday 12/29 – Top 10 Characters in 2011 (This can be anything you’d like to make it for characters. You can post your favorite Villains, etc. Just be sure that this post is character based.)
Friday 12/30 – Top 10 Books I’m looking forward to in 2012 (Also on this day, we’ll each be adding some kind of a recap of the total number of books read, pages read, etc. This part of the post is optional. Feel free to add any stats you’d like to share with everyone. So, if you’d like to also include some end of year stats, feel free to join us!)
Sounds like fun, huh?!  I thought so, too.  Now, just to figure out those lists of mine….

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of "happily ever after" books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It's for her family's sake. When not reading, she's homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  1. Oh, I love this, Kristin! I’ll definitely stop by to read about your favorites. We pretty much have the same taste (well, except for PNR, which I don’t read). I’m primarily a UF reader, even though lately I’ve been reading too much YA against my better judgement. 🙂

Can’t wait to read about your picks! 🙂
