Sunday Post 5 and a Little Clock Rewinding

Posted September 15, 2012 in Meme / 8 Comments

Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is a Sunday re-cap post started by Amanda at On A Book Bender and Tara at 25 Hour Books.  It’s a chance to share our love of other blogs.  The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

I’m out of town this weekend visiting the folks but I wanted to do a short “haul” post because there are some great books on sale right now, in case you haven’t heard.

Around the Blogosphere

  • Don’t forget about signing up for Bloggiesta (Ole! I love saying that).  The dates are September 28th – 30th.  Danielle from There’s A Book has posted the sign ups on her blog.  Check out my post for links or go directly to Danielle’s post
  • Parajunkee had yet another fabulous Book Blogging 101 post this week.  She talked setting blogging goals, where you want to go with your blog and editorial calendars.  And there’s more crazies out there with cease and desist notices over reviews of Melissa Marr’s Carnival of Souls.  Really?  Get a life…
  • One of my favorite blogs turned one year old this week.  Giselle @ Xpresso Reads spent her Blogoversary looking back over her year and I have to say, I got a warm fuzzy feeling just reading her posts.  Seriously, it’s like sprinkles tossed on my Lucky Charms happiness – my love of the blogging community is renewed by all the peeps that came out to wish her “Happy Blogoversary”.   And she’s giving us the presents?!?!?  What’s up with that? 😀

That’s it for me this week, guys…  What books made their new home at your house?

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of "happily ever after" books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It's for her family's sake. When not reading, she's homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.
