Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is a Sunday re-cap post started by Amanda at On A Book Bender and Tara at 25 Hour Books.  It’s a chance to share our love of other blogs.

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

Err, well… I was kind of busy last week so I didn’t get a lot of blogging done.  Well, quite frankly, I’ve been in a writing funk.  If you’ve ever read one of my reviews, they tend to be very “talkative”.  I can talk about books for days on end.  But writing it all down, I kind of need a little peace, quiet, and inspiration.  Epic fail on all counts, lately.

So I’ve been reading… ALOT!  I finally started a series I’ve been dying to read for a long time, Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampires.  Abso-freakin-awesome, slathered with homemade buttercream icing!!  Good thing I own three of the books already and have others requested from the library 😀

  • By the way, Parajunkee is still one of my absolute favorite bloggers to follow in the whole wide world. 1. because she designed my blog and 2. because she does posts like THESE ← check it out if you’re thinking about jumping off the Blogger ship.

  • So, like I said above, I’ve always “conversed” in my reviews. I’m super-stoked to know it’s not a bad thing. Amanda @ The Path of Least Revision (aka Amanda @ On A Book Bender) does these crazy helpful posts on her business site. Here’s ONE from week before last that reaffirms my love to talk about books on my blog.

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  1. I still need to start the Chicagoland Vampire series, I keep hearing how awesome they are! Thanks for mentioning our August month! We’re pretty stoked, we were looking at all our posts for next month on the calendar and we can’t even believe it ourselves LOL I’m going to be lucky if I can get a few reviews in we’ve got so many guest posts!
