Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is a Sunday re-cap post started by Amanda at On A Book Bender and Tara at 25 Hour Books.  It’s a chance to share our love of other blogs.

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

With the crazy midwest weather that can’t make up it’s mind whether it wants to be summer or fall, of course I got knocked out with a migraine this week.  Hence the laziness of my posts 😀

I had a lot more written here and lucky for you I hit the delete button.  I’m trying REAL hard to keep my posts shorter… I tend to pontificate too much.

After the mind explosion that occurred after reading Hopeless by Colleen Hoover in one day, I had to run to Amazon and buy the ebook Losing Hope (Hopeless #2)

I picked up The Opportunist (Love Me With Lies #1) by Tarryn Fisher after reading Lisa at Paranormal & Urban Fantasy Reviews’ review stellar of it – and it was only 99¢!

I actually WON Blog Events from the author, Ms. Amanda Shofner, as part of a promotion for following her AWESOME newsletter from her site The Path of Least Revision.  Oh, Amanda?  That’s On A Book Bender‘s Amanda!  Yeah, her advice kind of rocks…  Her book is only $2.99.

So, yeah, I went a wee bit nuts on the review copies.  But in my defense, I don’t have a lot of review copies on deck…

And thank you Hyperion and HCI Books.

I picked up Bullying Under Attack to read for our library’s non-fiction section.  This is such an important issue and I was really intrigued by these essays written from the point of the view of the bullied, the bully, and bystander.

I hope everyone is enjoying the lazy last days of summer!!!  Let me know what books came home this week to your house and definitely let me know what I missed in the bloggie world since I was out with the headache last week!!!

  1. Great haul! I received or bought a few of those books too, but I still need to read them. 😛 I’m really looking forward to These Broken Stars and Cruel Beauty. Bullying Under Attack looks interesting with the three perspectives. I might just check it out. Thanks for sharing! I hope you enjoy all your new reads.

  2. Elusion looks good, I’ve been curious about that. And the bullying book, yes that’s such an important issue.

  3. You haven’t read Ten Tiny Breaths yet? Oh, I can’t wait to hear what you think of it! I think your haul for the week is pretty awesome. Much more manageable than mine. haha!

Our weather has been crazy too. Either extreme heat or cool as fall. I’ve had a lot of sinus headaches lately. I hope you’re feeling better soon!
