Clock Rewinders on a Book Binge is a Sunday re-cap post started by Amanda at On A Book Bender and Tara at 25 Hour Books.  It’s a chance to share our love of other blogs.

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

School is finally back in session so I’ve been working on some bloggie maintenance a bit this week and I hope to start getting more regular with the posts.  This will always be a hobby for me so don’t expect too much greatness from me – it’ll never happen!

Around-the-Blogosphere

I don’t get out like I should but here’s what I caught out and about:

[list style=”gear”]

  • Parajunkee out did herself with a #BB101 post where she shared her top WordPress plugins, reminded us that people are always going to be idiots, and that careful “branding” will get you remembered. All in one little post! Yep, she’s that good…

  • Did y’all see this a while back? Colleen Hoover’s post about a reviewer giving a great review of a book of her’s and then going on to give a link to a “free” copy of said book? As in a pirated book. Yeah, just don’t… it’s wrong in so many ways. A reward for recognizing the utter wrongness of the idea of promoting a pirated book in a review? Go to the next post in Colleen’s blog and you’ll find an excerpt from Daniel’s novella coming soon. If you haven’t read Hopeless or Losing Hope, you might want to wait…

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  2. It astounds me what people do on the Internet. Promoting pirated books is the latest in a long line of no-nos.

Love the cover for Never Deal with Dragons. I’m a sucker for a sexy man with a tattoo :0)
