Happy New Years!  Hopefully you’re not nursing a hangover.  If you are, I’ll try and keep it quiet.

Today we’re sharing our blogging resolutions for 2014.

I really tried hard NOT to make my list sound like a Bloggiesta to-do list and be more things I want to focus on ALL year long.  I hope to run around everyone else’s blogs and pick up ideas for more good resolutions.  In no particular order:
• I will complete my web design class, Girl’s Guide to Web Design.
  • I will get ahead on my posts so they are scheduled in advance.
  • I will be better about getting around to other blogs (I need to experiment to find a better system – Bloglovin’ and Feedly don’t meet my needs exactly).
  • Last but not least… I will read more books on my TBR!!!!
… you can stop laughing right now.  I’ll never keep that last resolution!

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  1. Good luck on meeting your resolutions! I definitely need to work on my TBR list, I keep picking up books that just happen to NOT be on my list… ;D I also can’t seem to keep ahead on my posts. Scheduling just feels funny to me, but I’m still trying! Thanks for sharing and happy new year!

  2. Those are some really great resolutions. Especially the last one (I don’t think I would be able to keep that one either.) I am basically starting over with book blogging so my list of resolutions are centered around that.

Parajunkee is just plan awesome for coming up with this idea!

  3. I definitely want to start scheduling my blog posts more. I do this a little bit now but it’s usually only a few days in advance I want to get where I schedule at least a week in advance, especially meme posts.

    Happy New Year

  4. I love bloglovin for keeping up with other bloggers. I don’t think I’d ever remember other blogs/be able to keep up without it.

Good luck with your resolutions and happy new year! 🙂

  5. Great goals! I need to stop adding to my TBR piles and start reading! And one of my goals is to figure out Bloglovin, as I must be doing something wrong because it’s just not working for me. Can’t find old posts and it doesn’t make commenting very easy. I’m another one still mourning the loss of Google Reader. 🙁

    Happy New Year!

  6. I haven’t been too happy with Bloglovin either. When there are more than a dozen blogs in my feed, it’s impossible to get through. I hate that there is no sorting option. Like, I would love if I could search for discussion posts from all the blogs that I love.

    Ah, well….we can dream, right?

Best of luck with your goals! I’m jealous with your design talent. I have no artistic talent. I tried making a gingerbread house and my husband thought told me that my two-year old would have done a better job. 🙁 Oh, well. That’s why we have awesome people like you to help pretty up the blogs of people like me. 🙂
