The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba the Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

To all the mothers out there, hope you’re enjoying your special excuse for being lazy and taking an “it’s all about ME” day!  I already received (and eaten) my Sheri’s Berries strawberries.  I absolutely LOVE being my son’s mom and I’m incredibly blessed to be a stay at home mom (sort of) and be able to homeschool him.

I ended up getting sick this week with a head cold that knocked me out Tuesday and Wednesday.  Thursday night at work was awesome because I got to talk through the young adult book order with the YA librarian and that’s a total blast for me – to have my opinion matter and see my picks ordered (or not ordered in some cases).  I’m so damn lucky and I think only you guys would “get it” 🙂

Clean Sweep ARC challenge

I’ve only read one book off my goal list but I’ve ticked off three review books so YAY!  Here’s to being fickle!

  • Make It a Double (Last Call #2) by Sawyer Bennett
  • Bittersweet Darkness (The Order #3) by Nina Croft
  • Don’t Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  1. Never hesitate to share your books wishes with a librarian, we love to chat with our readers even if we can’t always buy all they want 🙂 These are some nice covers you got, they’re definitely interesting – except now, I’ve got The house of the rising sun song in my head !
Happy Mother’s day, enjoy your week 😉

  4. Hope you had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Our library actually has an online form you can complete requesting books they should purchase. I made a recommendation this summer regarding a local author’s book and they added to the collection. Since I requested it, I was the first one to check it out!

    Get well soon!
