Really, why are you sitting here reading my Sunday Post when I’ve got two giveaways going on that have prizes totally $45 USD in e-gift cards?  Seriously!  I work hard at the library so my money has to go somewhere!  Lord knows I haven’t spent my money on covering my roots – my grey roots are showing something fierce (I just noticed this so it’s currently on my mind, sorry).   Just look a little to your right on the side bar and the links are right there!  Or HERE and HERE.

I went to the see The Book of Life with my family this weekend.  I wasn’t expecting much but I found myself actually enjoying it!  And imagine this: a Mexican-style version of Radiohead’s “Creep”???  Brilliant!!!

Drama, drama, drama on the blogosphere again this weekend.  UGH.  After attempting to read all sides of the story, all I can say is that bad behavior was abundant but in the end, an author tipped the scales with her crazy, inappropriate, stalkerish actions.  I’m left wondering why this author’s behavior is advertised on a major UK news website.

Well, here are my goodies for the week.  Surprisingly, I bought more books than normal weeks.  The Hook Up I bought based on Christy’s review and the fact that I was wanting it anyways.  Another book was a freebie and I wanted to check out the author’s work.  Her Best Shot is the book before Her Perfect Game which I absolutely loved so I nabbed that one.  I don’t buy books willy-nilly, I usually have a good reason for my purchases.  Do you care to know what they are?  Eh, I’ll tell ya anyways…  😉

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

All that crazy stuff on twitter was…well Crazy. I can’t believe that happened and it’s a little scary. Has made me take off my last name on everything and thinking of getting a PO Box. Not sure why that author thought that was OK. Its creepy and scary.
