Well, hello peeps!

I was gone last weekend because my folks were up from Cleveburg (aka Cleveland) to help hand out candy on Halloween.  We live in a neighborhood where they truck the kids in to trick or treat.  Cars are parked up and down the street, bonfire pits in every driveway, and there I am, walking house to house with an open container of Ace Pear Cider.  Usually the parents put their drinks in the wagons with their kids but mine was running too far ahead with his friends.

We saw the new Peanuts movie on Friday and I smiled the entire time.  Snoopy and Charlie Brown were favorites of mine when I was a little kid.  According to my mother, I was a “Lucy” growing up…

HUGE NEWS

On Wednesday, November 1th, I will be officially flipping the switch on my name change.  My new blog name will be “Addicted to Happily Ever After”.  Check out all the reasoning and blah, blah, blah HERE.

I’ve already made a few changes here and there.  For instance, I changed Twitter already.  And I’m still working out the design.

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of “happily ever after” books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It’s for her family’s sake. When not reading, she’s homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

  1. I like the name, good for you for making the change. Hope it all goes well… will follow of course. 🙂 Glad you had an active Halloween, hardly got any kids here- it was raining and we don’t get a ton anyway. Which is a bummer, I always liked getting a ton of kids and the neighborhood I grew up in was very active.

Glad to hear Peanuts is good, I want to see it.

  2. Seems like you had a very fun Halloween! All I did was hang out at home and do nothing but read and surf the internet (we don’t celebrate it much here, sigh).

Also, I am in LOVE with your new blog name’s header! Good luck with your name change!

  3. Kristin I’m looking forward to seeing the new blog banner and name etc… It looks good.

Halloween sounds huge in your area… what a lovely family occasion. It’s not big in Australia anyway and we had one group of 3 teenage boys knock on our door… (and we had lots of candy in case!)

  4. Your name-change is great, and your new logo is gorgeous, Kristin!

Your new books all look good, I couldn’t pick only one I’d want for myself, which is not really a good thing. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.

I’m glad you had a great Halloween! We don’t really celebrate Halloween in Switzerland, so I only know how it works from books and movies 😀

Have a fantastic week ahead and happy reading.

  7. oh I am so thrilled for you with this new change!!! I love the title because I love Happily Ever Afters too!!! It sounds just perfect for ya! Love the new books that you have gotten. I love Kresley Cole, she is such a fabulous. I am very curious about Roni Loren, I tend to be picky about BDSM themes, but I like the idea of a married couple. I Can’t wait for Dirty Deeds, because I read the second book and LOVED it. REally enjoyed Megan Erickson’s writing style. Hope you enjoy all of these.

  8. LOVE the new name!! And I just grabbed the 1st mechanics of love novel. I have the Kristen Proby book on my TBR list as well! Looks like we enjoy similar books! I love having new blogs to follow!
