Sunday Post #67: It’s Beginning to FEEL a Lot Like Christmas

The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

Are you reading along with the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-Thon?  How’s it goin’?

I am LOVING all over this read-a-thon because it really is getting me into the mood of the season!  The book I read first, A Bad Boy for Christmas by Jessica Lemmon is kind of perfect for right now because it spans from Halloween through Christmas.  I snuck in Jaci Burton’s Hot Holiday’s Nights for a quick, naughty, distraction.

Don’t forget that the Twitter party is Tuesday November 17, 2015 at 7 pm (EST) and anytime you want to update on Twitter about what you’re reading, make sure to include the hashtag #HoHoHoRAT so we can all see 🙂  I add the hashtag right to my Goodreads update.  Although Twitter and I were NOT getting along Saturday morning…

If you haven’t noticed yet, I changed my blog name last Wednesday.  It actually wasn’t so bad.  I had a slight redirect loop at my host that they happily fixed for me over the phone but other than that, everything is going swimmingly.  Just some social sites I need to change my graphics at.  Don’t forget to enter my Blogoversary giveaway, it’s open until the end of November.

Thanksgiving is coming up.  I’m thinking right now, this moment, that I have a lot to be thankful for.  I try to remember to thank God everyday for my blessings but I forget sometimes.

I’ve recently had the most fantastic opportunity literally shoved into my lap and I don’t dare ask the Big Man what I did to deserve such a friend for this.  And even if nothing much comes from it, I am inspired, moved, and have an itch that wasn’t there before to do more.

Thanks Kim.

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of "happily ever after" books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It's for her family's sake. When not reading, she's homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

I only did the 2 books, too. I can’t read as fast as some of these folks!! That’s why I threw in the novella – so I can pretend I read more 😉

You finished Bad Boy already!?!?! Ugh!! It’s so slow for me… I want to throttle Faith in the head with one of her wine bottles! I’m around 60% ish and I can tell she’s gonna dump his butt already. grrrrrr…

How do you know it’s our Kim and not some other “Kim”? There are a lot of Kim’s in the world. But, yeah, it’s Blogger Mentor Maven – she’s kicked my butt into making money with my blogger know-how. We’ll see if it pans out… She actually got me thinking and reminded me I freakin’ major’d in this crap in college – oops!
