Twelve more days to Christmas, right?

I have to ask because I’m a little foggy on medicine right now.  Apparently the migraine I’ve had since last Saturday is being caused by a sinus infection, best guess of course.  I just started antibiotics and a steroid Zpak today.  This is in addition to all the Imitrex and muscle relaxers I’ve been throwing in my body all week.  So, yeah, I’m not signing any legal papers anytime soon.

Are you done with your Christmas shopping?

I am so close to being done it is awesome!  I’ve done almost all of it online.  I’m just waiting for it to all roll in now.  Amazon Prime… best “invention” ever!

    • Shopping: I’ve just discovered Hot Topic at the mall, believe it or not! I bought presents for my mom, Cris AND Jake!! I also hit up Etsy and bought cute silver earrings from San Diego and I’m hoping they get here in time. For your boy, would he like anything on ThinkGeek? How about gear from RoadRunner (it’s store is in San Diego). A headlamp to run at night? Need better ideas, you know where I’m at 🙂

  1. I love Prime but don’t have it. Currently I live close to my parents who do have it and they always let me use theirs. But once I move next year…I will probably get it then. I have finished most of my shopping already just need a gift card for my sister and then I am all set. I just love Jennifer Ryan even though her books always make me cry. So I can’t wait to read that one too.

    • My hubs uses Prime for the free videos, too, so its really worth it to us. And yay for being done shopping – time to bake lots of cookies and read!!

I love Jennifer Ryan b/c her cowboys are so REAL! I’m excited to get to these “boys”!!

    • Knowing MY family, they would have too much fun “playing” with a loopy me. They’d be laughing at all the stupid things I do! 🙂

Plenty of time to shop! No Worries!!!

  2. Hope you feel better soon. I would hate for you to be sick on Christmas. We don’t do much Christmas gift giving, since we don’t have any kids in the family. So, yes, I’m done. Didn’t have much to buy. I do have a present that might not be delivered in time, but it is for my mom. She will survive. I’ll just tell her it will delivered right after. I didn’t realize it was made as you ordered it.

    • I admit, I don’t have a lot to buy for either. One kidlet is easy to buy for 😉 You bought blankets for the horses, though, right?

And yeah, I’m worried about my Etsy purchase, too…

  3. I got Built for review as well and I am super excited! Jay Crownover is amazing! And, I have been contemplating trying historical romance again and several people suggested Tessa Dare. Thoughts?? I see you have an ARC of a book of hers so I thought I’d ask!

  4. Great haul this week. 🙂 I’m done with my Christmas shopping and am working on wrapping everything now. I decided to get several family members blankets this year and those area headache to wrap without boxes.

Good luck with your last little bit of Christmas shopping.

  5. My shopping is not done- I’ve barely started. Oops. I did get some yesterday, was out at the mall. Fun until it wasn’t LOL. But I’ve got time right?

Prime is awesome, no doubt. I need to start doing my stuff online, so convenient. I do some, but not all. How your headache goes away!

    Like the new background.

  6. “Are you done with your Christmas shopping?” – Oh, you’re hilarious. Good one. I was flat out last week too and I just finished the Zpack. Good stuff, almost as good as the prednisone. 🙂 Here’s hoping we both get better quickly and finish our holiday preparations.

  7. Sorry you are feeling crummy! I hope the meds do the trick. I have just begun my shopping. I work well under pressure. LOL I just read my first Tessa Dare and plan to read more! Have a good week

  8. I am almost done with christmas shopping! Maybe one or two things left and then I’m done!
Oh man, medicine can be good but at the same time it leaves you feeling horrible. I hope you start feeling better soon! And please do not sign ANY legal papers!!
I hope you get to enjoy this week 🙂 Eat soup!! I swear, that’s my remedy for everything haha And the natural echinacea pills! They work wonders for the immune system.
