The Sunday Post

The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

It’s been a week.  You know, one of those weeks where you forget how to do everything and you wish you were still on vacation.  Those weeks where you look back and ask yourself, “What the heck did I do all week?”  I know I only wrote one review… meh.

I have been doing some design work and that is freaking exciting.  But other than that, I have literally been absolutely blahhhhhh..

I think I’m just going to start ALL OVER this coming week with all the big plans I had for my blog.  Phft…

I’m so excited to actually get Firstlife b/c I’m a longtime fan of Gena’s and this story sounds right up my road!  The Telling isn’t out for a while but her dead brother is going around killing people according to fairy tales?  Creepy!  I nabbed Kingdom of Ashes b/c I have the first book and I know if I don’t grab this one, it’ll be gone when I want it.  Kind of like how My Lady Jane disappeared on me (grrrrrrrrrr).

I’ve been keeping my eye on Down with the Shine and I’ve seen some good reviews so I nabbed that one.  Captured is book two in a series I absolutely love (it’s on the hot side of NA).  And I’m sure everyone got the email about Naked but I like the story – I’m a sucker for girls with self esteem issues and the guys that love them.

Thank you to Harlequin, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, Jennifer Chance, and Random House!

Have a great week, everybody!

    • I just looked and Lady doesn’t have a download button yet… sigh. But I keep checking 😀 No biggie, I’ll just buy it when it comes out – It sounds so freakin’ fun!!!

    • Your blog looks adorable! Don’t sweat it – when you’re not thinking about it, you’ll see a blog and think, “I want THAT on my blog” and then you’ll go change it on your blog. That’s how it works for me, at least.

  1. Yeah it’s that time of year when it can be kind of blah. Especially here in snowland- did you guys get any? We got some here, but not too bad. they were forecasting a lot. I read a whole book though- which is pretty good since I slacked in december. 🙂

I like the looks of your books, especially the first three. Hope they rock!

  2. I grabbed Down with Shine also and I read another of her books that I thought was OK so I am hoping this one I will like a lot more.

I know exactly how you feel. I am still in a holiday limbo and feel like I need to get out of it before my blog and real life starts to suffer. I have to get back to really organizing because that feel apart the last two weeks and now I feel the stress I had before I was organizing.

I hope you have a great week, Kristin! Happy Reading! ox

  3. hahaha, I don’t know why but your description of how last week was meh just made me laugh. I’ve had those weeks too. Then Sunday rolls around and you’re like “alright, this week instead!” haha 😀

  4. Hi Kristin and sorry you’ve had a crappy week… it seems to be a common post-holiday theme, so perhaps that will improve.

It’s great you got to do some design work and enjoyed that though!

    Have a great week!
