Top Ten Tuesday: Top Ten REWIND!

toptentuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is long standing meme started back in June of 2010 at The Broke and Bookish.  I have mad respect for the meme and it’s creator.

For Top Ten Tuesday this week, it’s a “rewind” where you can go back and revisit an old topic you already covered.  Or you can do a past list that you missed from the previous years.

From March 2011, I’m doing the topic,

“Books I Just HAD To Buy… But Are Still Sitting On My Bookshelf”

The Books... literally
The Books… literally

Strangely, I have quite a few hardbacks that I felt compelled to buy in my early years of blogging.  For some reason, I’ve just never gotten around to reading them.  And then there are those series recommended to me.  Some of the books above are hard to see because of their beautiful covers so they’re below, too 🙂

All buy worthy, right?  😀

Do you have any “run out and buy” books sitting unread on your shelf?

About Kristin

Kristin has to ensure she gets her minimal requirement of "happily ever after" books in between those books that contain cliffhangers and never-ending story arcs. It's for her family's sake. When not reading, she's homeshooling her 10-year old son, watching cartoons on TV, or taking a nap.

    • I have TWO of Fitzpatrick’s books I haven’t read but I KNOW they’re good *head desk*. Yes, it’s definitely the ARCs. I always want to be reading what’s relevant, right?

  1. I feel like I’m way too cluttered because I constantly have a bunch of books I’m like “I NEED YOU” towards and then they just kind of lay around for a while. I have too many to get into at this point (although I don’t think I’m quite at hoarder status yet) but boy do I do this a lot haha

  2. Yeah I’m pretty bad at this. HAVE to get this book- months later looking at bookshelf- “oh yeah, that one” lol. Sometimes you just gotta have a book because the physical version just has that bitchin cover or whatever. Certain books I gotta have on the shelf and others I don’t care. It’s weird.

  3. Not as much lately, but yes, I do buy books that I never find time for and I’m really trying to change that. haha Book blogging is a bit hazardous when it comes to seeing books and needing to buy them even if you already have a million other titles you NEED to read.

  4. Vampire Academy and Under the Never Sky!!! Must reads! I read them both when I first started blogging and the VA series is one of my fave series. So good!

I actually just bought the first book in the Kate Daniel’s series, they sound so good 😀

Ditto on Shadow and Bone! That one’s been sitting on my TBR pile for a while. I have a couple of Ilona Andrews books sitting there too, collecting dust. I know I’ll go through a hardcore binge read of her books though and catch back up in the blink of an eye. So I don’t feel too guilty about that one.
