The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.
I had such an awesome time in the Minneapolis area visiting with my husband’s family. Of course, no event is ever complete without a little family drama. But all in all, it was awesome to see family we haven’t seen in too long.
Besides getting a new tattoo (it’s a tree) while my sister-in-law got her first, my son and I made out like bandits in the Mall of America while playing PokemonGO. I was in PokeStop heaven! We also found a fantastic Japanese store called Tomodachi. So flippin’ adorable. Here are some pics from my trip:
While we were travelling, we used our Directv App A LOT to watch TV!! I was happy to be a long time customer before but now I’m slightly happier now (WOOT!). Because my husband can’t have enough shows to watch (seriously?), we moved into this millennium and got Netflix. Yep, on top of Amazon Prime AND Directv, we have Netflix now. I don’t know if we could blow more money on TV we don’t watch if we tried 😛
In other fantastically lame and related news, I finally saw the end of Star Wars: A Force Awakens and I know who dies at the end (happy closure dance!). And that ending… really? UGH… Still a fantastic movie, though. Also lamely related, I started Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend. I might be done by the end of the year!
ANNNNNDDDD… we saw Storks this weekend! It was great, but I think I was the only one in our theater laughing. I LOVED the Lego Ninjago Movie short that preceded the movie. My son and I couldn’t control ourselves, it was sooooo funny!!!!
WHAT I READ LAST TWO WEEKS
WHAT I’M STILL READING
I have no idea – I’m in such a slump / quandary as to my mood and what I want to read. Nothing is “fun” right now (Boooo!)
A huge thank you to Cecy Robson, Simon & Schuster, HarperCollins, & HMH.
That’s enough for me this week…. phew!!!
PS – Sorry for all the typos the first time around (there’s probably more)! Toss post together at last minute + Son wide awake at midnight the night before = Falling asleep on computer
