The Sunday Post is a meme hosted by Kimba at Caffeinated Book Reviewer and it’s a chance to showcase new books and re-cap your week of blogging.

I have not felt like blogging for the last month.  I have reasons, also known as excuses, but I think I’m heading back now.  I thought maybe decorating the site for Christmas might help 🙂

I have been reading like a fiend, though, so I have a ton of reviews coming up.  AND, I couldn’t possibly miss doing year end posts.  I think those are my favorites.

I’m actually pretty much done with my Christmas shopping.  YAY!  I bought almost everything online so now I just sit and wait for the packages arrive.  God Bless the UPS guy and my mailwoman!!!!

They FINALLY aired Lin-Manual Miranda’s episode of Drunk History last Tuesday!!!  I’ve watched it twice because of it awesomeness!!  Alia Shawkat was amazeballs as Hamilton and OMG, Questlove’s appearance? o.O  Lin-Manual is so adorable when he’s drunk as a skunk…

  1. Ha so you’re one of THOSE people that is almost done shopping already, are ya?? lol seriously though that’s awesome, I’ve discovered the joys of shopping online too and it beats being trampled at the malls! Ha ha at least I’ve started which is better than some years. I’m going to try and do most of mine online this year too.

I have no idea what Drunk History is but it sounds fun? And nice look- it’s looking kinda Christmasy around here. 🙂 Crossing fingers we don’t get snow tomorrow…!!

    • Dude, we ARE getting snow! You should have it RIGHT NOW!! And you should check out Drunk History if you like history. Granted, my hubs can’t watch it b/c he grew up with an alcoholic dad so drunks trying to talk is the last thing he wants to watch but other than that, it is good!!!!!! 🙂

  2. First I hate you. You had the flu in your home and you are still done your shopping? Do you know what I have so far? Nada. I bought some things for myself..lol The blog looks festive. I should do something, but I am lazy. I plan to listen to Dare to Lie. Have a good week, I am looking forward to your reviews.

    • Dude… you’ve got the snow going!! I was soooo excited to see you had that going again. It’s like… TRADITION!!! And you have Amazon Prime, chop, chop. Oh, and the birth of a grandson IS a bit distracting, no??? You definitely have time, no worries!!!!

    • I have been in a major EVERYTHING mood with reading right now so I think I’m safe. January books are turning out to be pretty awesome!!

And I, too, am NEVER close to done with shopping this early either!! I took advantage of the October sales 😉

    • I LOVE taking huge long breaks because of how it feels to get back, how refreshed you are!! I need to do it more often, that’s for sure!!! And I’m so excited for Christmas, too!!! Doesn’t it seem like it’s a longer season this year compared to last year??? YAY!!

    • Thanks!!! And you have birthdays to shop for, too?!?! UGH!! I feel bad for them!! My hubs just had his and he always felt slighted on presents when he was a kid. Now I just buy him everything he wants 😉

  3. I am glad you came back. I think the blogging slump is cacthing all over the blogosphere. No one seems to be up for posting. I have been reading a lot, but I have been struggling keeping up with comments and reivews, especially since my dad is here. Anyway, I am getting close to wrapping up my shopping too, and I will be glad to be done.

  4. Love the Christmas To Do list and the site looks great. I hope you’re feeling more enthusiastic in a bloggy sense. I’m going to have a little break around Christmas sometime. No blogging, minimal social media. I think….

  5. I’m glad to see you back!! I do like reading the year-end posts. I don’t tend to do them, but I should try one or two this year!! 🙂 I feel like I’ve read some really good books this past year.

I need to watch the Drunk History episode! I totally forgot it was at the end of November.

  6. I loved the episode of Drunk History too. I don’t normally watch that show, but I really wanted to see that one. It was great. I might have to check out other episodes. I’m with you on blogging. I love it, but it seems to be wearing me down lately. I’ve been listening to more “for fun” books and less review books right now. I do love your Christmas design. So adorable. 🙂
