I had been waiting for this book since December of 2015. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The cover caught my eye but it was the synopsis that nabbed me and reeled me in. And as readers, we’re surprised when a book turns out a little bit different than what we expected, whether for the good or the bad. Okay, maybe you aren’t but I am, every time it happens to me.
Why, oh why, doesn’t anyone write a stand alone anymore? Please, can we just wrap up the story in one book? Why do I have to enjoy a story so much only to be eventually let down at the “non-ending”? At least duologies have been invented because, yeah, those never existed before.
There are so many reasons for my severe case of “the book smiles”* while I was reading this book. I ate up every single page of Jo and Rune’s story.
Jus Accardo is finally back with the second book in her Eternal Balance series. To say I jumped all over this as soon as I saw this available to read and review would be an understatement. This is a story that has actually stuck with me after two years!
