The first book in Jennifer Chance’s Gowns & Crowns series was all about the Prince finding his Princess and all that fairytale romance mushy stuff, with a bit of intrigue added in. Well holy smokes did Ms. Chance ramp up the intrigue. She added in a whole lot of suspense to this second book in the series. It was almost as if Intrigue walked up to Romance and asked it to dance.
Hot Holiday Nights fit perfectly into my reading “repertoire”. It had Christmas vacation getaway appeal, a romantic fling with a hot surfer, and then a story about opening new doors in your life and taking chances when opportunity (and LOVE) plop themselves down into your lap.
Jessica Lemmon is an author I have been trying to make time to read ever since I saw all the great reviews for her Second Chance series.
