Color me clueless, but I had no idea the cover image was a rose engulfed in flame. Well, that kind of explains a lot…. Too bad it took me the entire story to figure it out because that really is a beautiful cover!

Normally, I wouldn’t pick up a book that looks anything like this. The cover reminds of a woman’s contemporary novel and I’m just not drawn to that kind of drama. I need happy ever afters and I want them sweet and perfect.
