This is going to be one of the easiest reviews I’ve ever written.
Genre: Science Fiction
By now you’ve most likely heard about the book Illuminae. It’s innovative, fast-paced, and extremely mind-numbingly contemplative. I’m sure many of my brain cells suffered in the reading of this book. And I didn’t have many to spare. Illuminae rightfully won many awards in it’s first year of publication and it […]

But it’s Ms. Carter’s talented writing style that I immediately recognize in the action sequence that starts from page one and never stops until the very end.
The cover pulled me in and made me want to read this book – it IS an amazingly beautiful cover, is it not? My fellow bloggy friends’ reviews kept me reading the story when I thought I might put the book down for good. And it was the last third of the book that absolutely MADE this story classic, epic, heartbreaking, and so, so satisfying.
