Charley is snarky, witty, hilarious, and downright tenacious when it comes to righting the wrongs she sees in the world. This is one series that if you haven’t started reading it, YOU NEED TO START!!!
I have mad love for Renée Carlino’s books. Each one of Ms. Carlino’s books is unique in it’s own way. But Lucian Divine went in an entirely new, unpredictable direction and I love her for pushing boundaries.
You’ve seen this book around. Book two is out tomorrow. You’ve heard the hype about this debut. You’ve read the reviews. Does it live up to it all?
I’m stoked to be participating in Ms. Robson’s tour for her newest book in her Weird Girls series, Of Flame and Light. It’s out NOW!!
This is going to be one of the easiest reviews I’ve ever written.
It’s time for the tenth book in the Charley Davidson series! And believe it or not, it’s getting harder and harder to review Ms. Jones’ books.
I’ve said it before… do I really need to say it again? Yeah, probably. I love anthologies. I love them for their quick stories. In and out, nobody gets hurt. I love to try out new authors, too.
I admit it. I was a tad leery going into book number nine of the Charley Davidson series. We had a huge turn of events at the end of Eighth […]
Today is a huge day for Weird Girls fans! I’m happy to take part in celebrating release day for Taran’s first book! If you haven’t started reading this fantastic urban […]
There are so many reasons for my severe case of “the book smiles”* while I was reading this book. I ate up every single page of Jo and Rune’s story.
Jus Accardo is finally back with the second book in her Eternal Balance series. To say I jumped all over this as soon as I saw this available to read and review would be an understatement. This is a story that has actually stuck with me after two years!
It’s never too early to start planning your holiday reading, especially with the Ho-Ho-Ho Read-a-Thon right around the corner. Sourcebooks Casablanca is here to help you find your perfect holiday hero!
I have been rabidly trying new authors this year. A lot of it has to do with trying new genres. Mostly its due to working at the library and being bombarded with books I would never have known had existed before. For instance, I had no idea that paranormal romance had so many authors writing it! Just a few years ago, I had a hard time finding PNR books. Now they’re as easy to find in a supermarket as a highlander book.
Before I started writing my review, I quickly scanned the other Goodreads reviews to see why some of the reviewers were giving this book low marks. I quickly realized that a lot of the reviewers hadn’t read the previous books in the series. I’ll admit, I didn’t either. But I really enjoyed this dark, ominous, game changer book in the Shadow Shifters series. And having only read the one book, I could tell that this series was not for the faint of heart when it came to the romance and action. Roses and candlelight are not a part of these kitties’ repertoires.
I feel like I need to apologize to someone. The conclusion (sort of) of Celia’s story came out while my blog was down so I didn’t get a chance […]
Today I’m hosting the cover reveal for a fantastic sounding upcoming paranormal romance by Abigail Baker. If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been in a paranormal mindset lately so this is so completely up my (dark and creepy) alley!
We need to talk. I’d like to discuss genres and what you’re reading. Do you read urban fantasy? Do you read paranormal romance? Do you read plain ‘ole romance?? Do you like strong heroines? Do you like that heroine to have a strong support system in the form of kick-ass sisters?
If ANY of these have piqued your interest, you really need to start the Weird Girls series by Cecy Robson.
Uncontrollable giggling out loud. It’s a staple of Darynda Jones’ books. If you’ve read ANY of her Charley Davidson series, you already know this and plan your reading locations accordingly. Me? I just irritate the heck out of everyone else in the library break room 😀
Larissa Ione has single-handedly renewed my love of paranormal romance and vampires. How’d she do it? By taking her world back to the basics or dare I say, to a “classic” world of vampires.
I recently attended a webinar that Ms. Carmack participated in where her and other authors discussed the new adult genre. When she mentioned that she would be publishing a paranormal / new adult story, I about fell out of my chair!
This is one of those paranormal romances that is just a fun ride! It has a sweet love story but beyond that, the entire Midnight Liaisons series has a background of characters that is in a close-knit community of supernaturals and many of the couples continue to live on through multiple books. Ryder and Hugh’s story had such a satisfying and giggling ending for me, it put me in such a great mood for the rest of the day.
Today I’m back to regularly scheduled reviews and such with a review for one of my favorite PNR series and a giveaway for an e-copy of it.
To celebrate the upcoming release of the second book in her Execution Underground series, Immortal Hunter, Kait Ballenger is offering a fantastic giveaway! This is one of my favorite new paranormal romance series so I’m super excited to be participating in the upcoming blog tour!
This week’s WoW is a book that I’ve been eagerly waiting on since it was teased at the end of the first book in the series… I sort of hate when that happens.
